KYS is a community based organisation which promotes high quality voluntary activity. We value the contributions which volunteers make to Kildare
Youth Services and support them through training. We encourage individuals to participate and play a meaningful role in the community through voluntary work
with KYS.
We welcome volunteers to become involved in our work through:
- Working in youth projects and clubs
- Participation in area fora
In addition, Kildare Youth Services has a voluntary board of directors that manages the service.

Naas
Summer Fun Camp
The Naas Summer
Fun Camp is an inter-agency summer project involving The Naas Youth
Project and The Naas Child and Family Project who are part of Kildare
Youth Services, Kildare Sports
Partnership, Vincent De Paul and The Canals Cluster School Completion
Programme.
The camp is in its
third year and due to its success will now run annually with the support
of the lead agencies and the local community. This summer programme was
set up to target children and young people living in Naas or attending
schools in Naas who may not be able to avail of other summer programmes
being run in the area.
The management
committee of the summer camp have already started to plan for this
year’s camp which will take place in July 2009. The committee are
seeking volunteers to help out and to work alongside staff from the
supporting agencies to ensure that all children participating in this
year’s camp are well cared for and supervised and can engage in an
action packed programme in a fun and safe environment.
