Naas Child & Family ProjectBackground The Naas Child and Family Project (established under the Department of Health and Children Springboard Initiative in May 1999) provides a community based family support service to local family’s in Naas. This project is managed by Kildare Youth Services in partnership with the HSE. The Springboard initiative recognises that family’s should be supported within their own communities. The Naas Child and Family Project is therefore locally based, accessible to local family’s and is user friendly in the approach undertaken to family support work.
Mission Statement The Naas Child and Family project is a community based family support project. It works in a holistic way to strengthen family relationships and well being. It promotes a more equal and inclusive society in partnership with children and families, the local community and other agencies.
