Background
Kildare Youth Services Counselling Service has been in existence since 1994. Initially it began on a part-time basis in response to the need for
individual supportive intervention for young people identified through the work of Kildare Youth Services. The three areas of Naas, Newbridge and Athy were
identified as key target areas. The Counselling Service has since expanded and now operates in eight different locations in County Kildare.
